Stress Melting

OVERVIEW

A few years ago the Health and Safety Executive published a report from Cardiff University which, among other things, compared stress levels in different occupations. Teachers topped this particular league table, with 41% reporting high levels of stress.

It is becoming increasing important to provide easy, flexible methods of improving health and well-being to staff that can be practiced effortlessly in the time available.

OBJECTIVES

This course is designed for those who are noticing any of the mental, emotional or physical signs of stress, such as:
  • feeling tired
  • being irritable
  • feeling emotional
  • feeling unable to cope
  • suffering from minor or major physical health problems

This training seminar contains five stress melting techniques that can be applied, simply and effectively for maximum health benefits, in a direct and straightforward manner.

Regular practice of these stress melting techniques has been demonstrated to create ever increasing improvements in ability to cope with life and better still, to cause participants to feel more balanced, happier and healthier, more of the time.

CONTENT

Each course is tailored flexibly to suit the participants and will include the elements of maximum benefit to you that can be fitted into the time available. These include:

  • Five practical techniques for stress melting:
  • centering
  • breathing
  • progressive muscular relaxation
  • re-framing
  • creative visualization
  • Accessing inner resources and rehearsing future situations

  • Using unconscious processes to install stress melting behaviours

  • Changing internal dialogue
